There are many pier installation methods on the market today. We have chosen to stay with the tried and true method of drilled concrete piers.
Drilled concrete piers are the most reliable and time-proven method. Just like the name suggests, we drill holes until we reach the engineer’s recommended depth. Once the depth is achieved, then reinforced steel re-bar is installed in the holes, and concrete is poured. This method provides a solid pier for your home to rest on.
Signs of Slab Foundation Problems:
-Doors and windows stuck or sticking
-Cracks in drywall or cracks along walls
-Separation of trim from frames
-Uneven floors and sloping ground
Pier & Beam Foundation
Pier and beam construction is typically a combination of wood beams and joists sitting center of concrete piers, elevating the home. This allows for plumbing and electrical components to be placed beneath the home and ventilation. This area is known as a crawl space.
